How To Make The New UI Slightly More Ergonomic

First off: the new UI SUCKS and Zoho's response to crisis is DENIAL.

Having spent half a day despairing how Zoho has failed me with the roll-out of the new UI I managed to make the UI look a little bit like the old UI and thought  I would share my simple tweaks here:  
  1. Settings --> System: change font from the default Lato font (which is only bearable at 250% zoom!) to PT Sans or Arial
  2. Change the colour scheme to Obsidian Black
  3. Toggle the view icon on the right hand side and select Super Compact
