IMAP not Sync with Web Mail not Sync between 2 IMAP Clients

Hello Zoho Community,

We have been using Zoho for a year. Our mail account is for customer support and is having about 100 mails every day. We are having 2 people check and reply emails every 12 hours in turn on their own desktop via IMAP and SMTP.

On web mail, all emails are shown as unread even though all emails have been replied from IMAP client. (Actually we login to web mail not very often.) From the attached file, we have about 4500+ unread emails from inbox but actually we have each and every email replied every day. Besides a few latest emails which have not been processed yet, there should be no unread emails in inbox.

But between SMTP clients all mails are not synced either. This is a big problem for us. They have to let the other people know which email has been replied lastly when one people hands over the work to the other one. One is using Thunderbird and the other people is using zoho desktop light. They have tried a lot of email clients just try to solve the IMAP sync issue, such as outlook, foxmail. But all don't work at all. So I guess the problem is not from the mail clients.

Anyone have any suggestion then? Thanks in advance.
