Important update about notification security in Business Messaging SDK

As part of our ongoing effort to strengthen the security of notification data, we have enhanced how notifications are processed and protected in our applications. These improvements ensure that all notification related data follows the most up-to-date security standards.

We are now extending these same enhancements to our mobile applications through the latest release of the Business Messaging SDK for iOS and Android.

New SDK versions available

1. Android SDK Version 1.4.3
   
2. iOS SDK Version 1.4.4
   
3. Flutter Version 1.0.3

These are the only versions that will be supported going forward.

This update applies only to users who use the Business Messaging SDK as a standalone integration.

Availability of older versions

Older versions of the Business Messaging SDK will remain accessible until 12/01/2026. After this period, they will no longer be available for download or use.

Why are older versions unavailable?

Earlier SDK versions use an older data handling method. While functional, they do not include the latest security enhancements. Upgrading ensures that your notification workflows follow the improved protection standards now enforced across the platform.

What you need to do

Update to the latest SDK versions at the earliest to take advantage of the enhanced security and ensure continued compatibility.
