IP Board not connecting?

IP Board not connecting?

I have been trying to get SMTP mail to work on Invision Power Board for a while now. I came here because I'd been looking for somewhere to manage my email besides the cpanel access my host provides.

IP.Board doesn't seem to want to behave for me, no matter what I do. I've tried everything that my host and ipb suggest and it's not working. 

This is what I've got entered in, minus my password.



I'm getting an error when I run the email configuration test -  Could not open a socket to the SMTP server (110:Connection timed out)

Help please?
