Issue with Workflow. And how tight integration with Creator can solve it. And general rant.

Hi!  I've been *very* frustrated with the Workflow in CRM.  It is useless for doing anything remotely sophisticated.  Really, being able to create tasks or email?  Woopy.  
The *power* of Zoho CRM would really come out as a platform to build great integrations by being able to do cross module field updates.  And run calculations.

I know i know, you said you're working on it.

But I think you're missing something great.

Zoho Creator is a swiss army knife that allows me to do *anything* very easily.

So why not really tighten the integration between CRM and Creator?

As it is now I have to do these long complex scripts just to insert a field in CRM.  And it is a PAIN that I have to create a workflow in CRM to send an EMAIL to Creator to trigger a script to update a field in CRM.  That is just silly.  I know I would schedule something, except that it runs once a day?  I need REAL TIME to run my company.


And the wrapper for inserts?  Which should save me writing a bunch of code?  NOPE.  It does not support the de-duplicate logic that is in the api.  Argh.

I really LOVE Zoho, but I don't need another *app* that ties my shoelaces.  You already said CRM is your fastest growing app.  Because it is great.  It just needs some polish.  So please take this feedback as suggestions for polish.
You have a huge opportunity with CRM to further eat salesforce's lunch.
