Custom Fields - More Configure Access Options
Currently, when one makes a custom field, its visibility can be controlled by user role.
There are a great many instances where more granular control would optimize the UI. For example, there could be fields that should be shown when creating a new Sales Order, but not editing. Or, perhaps a custom field should be shown only on Composite Items, but not on regular Items.
It would be nice if users could set up their own rules to decide when a Custom Field is displayed. I would propose that this could be similar to the trigger filter for workflows, shown below:
