The Zoho mail web interface shows the correct status of messages.

Suddenly today, the last 3-4 weeks of messages in IMAP show up as unread, and my inbox and one other folder show hundreds of messages that had been deleted previously.

I've never seen any IMAP account behave this way. If I deleted it before, it should be gone.
