key word search

is there a way to do a key word search for a candidate record? The way it is right now is narrow and ill conceived. I may be wrong. Is there a way to do a key word search without having to do a field specific. Concern, if I have a note that has some key content and don't remember specifically what candidate it is and remember only vaguely some key words/technical concepts for this person.
