Larger Field Lables or Inline Text?

Is there a way to have a field appear larger/wider on an application form in Recruit?  Perhaps filling the width of the page?  We have a disclaimer that the applicant needs to agree to (About 110 words) and trying to cram the paragraph into the label makes things very difficult to read ... and rather ugly. 

To try working around this, we've added the text as a section at the top of the page but need to have the applicant actually check something to acknowledge they have read it.  This doesn't necessarily need to be captured, so I attempted to just code an html checkbox in ... but the Recruit application seems strip it out.

Any ideas?
