Mail forwarding problem - account with secondary email

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem and I haven't been able to fix it myself. I can't get the forwarding feature to work for an account.

I have an account contact@domain.com (of course, it's not domain.com, but I'd like to keep the domain private) which I have marked as my primary email address. For that account, I also seem to have a secondary email address dani@domain.com

When I am logged in contact@domain.com I see that this email address is marked as my primary address and that the email forwarding is set (and confirmed) to the correct email address. There is no option to delete dani@domain.com.

When I am logged in as administrator of the account, and go to Control Panel -> User details, in the list I see my user with the correct primary address ( contact@domain.com), but when I click that user, and then go to the Mail Accounts tab I see besides the user name the secondary email address dani@domain.com and in the mailbox address field the dani@domain.com email too, with no option to set it to contact@domain.com

Also, when I try to send an email to this dani@domain.com I get a Failure notice:  Recipient not found

I'd like to drop dani@domain.com and only keep the contact@domain.com email and make the forwarding work. 

Can anyone point me to the right direction here?
