Major issue

I am having an issue with the Zoho Resumé Extractor plugin for Chrome. Chrome is fully up to date, as is Windows. I am trying to extract basic text from a PDF that is open in Chrome. The moment I do this, the plugin says "Oops, some error occurred" and then it literally will not work on ANY page, site or file... unless I uninstall then reinstall the plugin. Any ideas??
