Map App to Zoho Ơne Before or After Upgrading?

Hi. I am on the free trial for Zoho one and the paid version of Zoho Marketing Automation. I got this notification:

"You have a paid Marketing Automation account and a Zoho One trial plan. To map your Social Spark account, you'll need to upgrade your Zoho One trial account.

Note: If you have any paid subscriptions to individual services, ensure you add them to the Zoho One account before you click Upgrade. This will allow us to calculate your payment on a pro-rated basis."


It looks like it's telling me I can't map Marketing Automation to Zoho One until I upgrade, but it says to make sure I add it to my account before I upgrade. This seems contradictory. What do I do first / how can I connect them (and then ultimately upgrade after my trial ends or sooner if necessary)?
