Am i right in thinking there is no way to add an individual task from a created template? I would have to use a task list template every time instead? 

The scenario needed is a frequently occuring task is added on an already created board by a project user. The task detail changes every time but the fields stay the same. Some fields are flagged as mandatory. 

I have tried creating a task list template with multiple copies of this task already listed out and asked users to clone one of these "template tasks" and edit the details and move it under the appropriate task list on the board but doing this does not trigger the "mandatory" flagged fields requirement and some of the required details are sometimes not added.

Is there another way around this problem?
