Not receiving incoming mail, outgoing mail not sending

Hello,

I did not receive a few emails  to my zoho mail account I know I should have received this evening so I tested sending myself an email from another account (not hosted by zoho) and also did not receive that email.

Additionally, I tried sending an email from my zoho mail account to a second account and although I do get a 'mail sent' notice, the email was not received in the second account. These emails also do not show up under my 'sent' email folder.

Are incoming and outgoing emails on a delay?

Please advise.
