Offset function spreadsheets

Offset function using cell the formula is located in results in #CIRCULAR error even though the reference is valid. When comparing two sets of similar data contained in adjacent columns, I am used to the following:

=Offset(g10,0,-5)=Offset(g10,0,10) ,

in the column between two sets of data to be compared. The false values highlight differences and I then shift or move data to line the comparison data up. Without use of offset function, moving the comparison data makes the comparison formula also change its reference.

But in Zoho entering the above formula in Cell G10 results in #CIRCULAR
