Outgoing Email Going to Spam Folders, and SPF

I have been trying to follow this guide:

I can't get past the first couple of steps. Thanks for any help, the more detailed the better.  

The reason I am trying this is many of my emails are going to people's spam. I would rather bounce, it is the worst because you have no idea if they got it or not, from now until who knows how long ago.
