Payment numbers

For Zoho Books, payments made/payments received, I need to track those as well. For invoices I can have Zoho Books generate invoice numbers automatically and set a seed # like say, 1008890011 , and invoice numbers will auto-increment by 1 every time a new invoice is generated. Can this plan be implemented for Payments made/received as well?
