Pop Mail Not Working

I've tried everything I can to get my pop email on my iPhone to work and no luck. Sometimes it tells me the username and password are incorrect, which I have verified and know for a fact that's not true. I'm using my whole email address as the username. i've even tried using the ID number as my user ID with no luck. I've double and triple checked the server port numbers are correct and I'm using SSL. Other times it tells me the pop.zoho.com server is not responding. I"ve also enabled POP access on my zoho account. 
Whta's going on and how can I get this to work?
