Possible Bug with Due Date / Start Date / End Date
Scenario for duplication:
You create a Task that is Due on the May 1st - since you don't know when you will start the task, you set May 1st as the Start/End Date so that the task will appear on the calendar, and the dependency functions are available.
You start the project on April 29 (starting the timer); you work on the task a few hours each day until April 30 - at which time you mark it complete.
You go to Reports -> Task -> List View
BUG:
The Task lists May 1st as the Start Date, and Completed on May 12th.
RECOMMENDATION: (or way it should operate):
There needs to be a separate entity for Due Date - that is the day the Task is due by.
Start / End Date should be used to track actual Start / End Date, which may or may not coincide with the Due Date.
If the Timer is clicked for the first time, it should set the Start Date.
Also, Timer should be available for Tasks assigned to "Any User" - and Timesheet entry should be made for that user... ideally it should also prompt that user to determine if the user would like to take ownership of the task.
