Problem with showing image after publishing

Problem with showing image after publishing
I have a document, with an image in it. This image was imported from my own PC.
The document is published externally and the image is shown normally in the published url. It does htis for years now.

Until today. Now the image does not show up in the published page. Tried different browsers and different computers.
I changed the image, so that it was loaded from an image on the web. Now when I use Firefox, the image is shown on the page, but in IE, the image still is not there. Also tried this on different computers.

I have made a complete new page, with only the image and a simple text in it, but this page has the same problem.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
