Projects-simple or complex??

I would like to know what is the motivation for advanced project management software users to using Zoho Projects?

Correspondingly, why is that so many of you want to take a product such as Zoho Projects - consciously aimed (primarily) at the user who does not want a complex product - and continually request/push the Projects team to make it in the image of complex products that are already on the market?


Moreover, this is a question which strikes at the heart of philosophical 'camps': those who favour an uncomplicated product, and those that favour a complex product.

Overall, these two camps are diametrically opposed, thus creating tension between such users & requirements. My own needs and business objectives place me firmly in the former camp -- along with many other like-minded users here --and I distinctly feel this tension.

I would really like to hear some comment from the 'other' camp concerning these questions.
