Recurring invoice vat time lines no vat

I have recurring invoices that add timehseet lines to the invoice. This is a welcome feature.
The only thing is that these lines do not have VAT calculated.

Because we send these invoice directly, we now have troubles every month with some invoices that not have the correct VAT.

I can't find any option that enables this.

Please help
