Additionally, we need the ability to create services that will occupy time only for other events of the same service but will not occupy time for other services. The Zoho Bookings team can add these functionalities to the system.
Dear Zoho Bookings Developer Team,
I am writing to express my concern about the current limitations of the Zoho Bookings system. As a long-time user of the platform, I have noticed that there are several functionalities that are currently missing from the system which are essential for our business operations.
The main issue we are facing is the inability to create bookings for external providers who are not Zoho users. For example, we have headshot bookings that are attended by photographers who are external providers, and currently, there is no way to create bookings for customers to meet with them in the system. The closest thing we can do is to call these external providers "resources," but this is not accurate and lacks the ability to set a specific duration for their services from our side.
Additionally, we need the ability to create services that will occupy time only for other events of the same service but will not occupy time for other services. This means that booking events for a different service should not set that time as taken for events of this type of service. We need to have an option to control this so we can specify if we want services to share occupied times between them or not.
These functionalities are critical for our business operations, and it is frustrating that they are currently not possible within the Zoho Bookings system. I have been using Zoho Bookings for years, and I have noticed that the platform has rarely been updated, and it is still lacking a lot of essential functionalities.
I urge you to take these concerns seriously and work on adding these functionalities to the Zoho Bookings system. This will greatly improve the user experience for businesses like ours and make the platform more competitive with other booking systems on the market.
