Restrict workflow rule trigger when Invoice updated via API

Hello Team,

I would like to know whether it is possible to restrict the workflow rule trigger while updating Invoice through API.

There is a facility in Zoho CRM API to pass parameter value false for parameter wfTrigger.

Please let me know if this is possible.
