Sent emails not attaching to Leads/Contacts
Hi,
I'm new to Zoho CRM and have tried searching the forums and contacting support for this, but can't find an answer.
I'm currently evaluating the Free version and have paid for the Zoho Mail add-on. I have gone through all the configuration steps to add my gmail as a pop3 account in Zoho. Mail is working fine as far as sending and receiving messages. However, sent messages are not being associated with CRM Leads or Contacts. If I go to a lead and send a mail there, it is listed. But, if I use the Email tab to send a message (being sure to select a CRM contact in the To field), then visit the Lead page for that person, the email is not listed. It looks like I have had no communication with that person.
What am I missing? I thought if you send a message to a CRM contact, it was supposed to associate the message to that person's record.
