We are evaluating the Shifts functionality within Zoho People and comparing it to the standalone Zoho Shifts product. We’ve encountered comments and discussions suggesting that the Shifts feature inside Zoho People may be less mature or less fully-featured than Zoho Shifts.

We would like clarification on the following:

Feature Comparison:

  1. What are the key differences between the Shifts feature in Zoho People and the Zoho Shifts product in terms of capabilities (scheduling, shift swapping, notifications, compliance, reporting, mobile support, time tracking, etc.)?

  2. Which scenarios is each solution best suited for?
  1. Are there known limitations of the Shifts feature within Zoho People that customers should be aware of?
Roadmap & Improvements:

  1. Are there any plans to enhance the Shifts feature in Zoho People? If yes — can you share the feature roadmap or planned improvements?

Understanding the strategic direction and differences will help us decide which product best fits our workforce scheduling needs going forward.
