SMS Notifications—Keep your respondents posted with quick updates

Hello everyone,

Notifications and status updates are an important facet of maintaining a robust information channel with your form respondents. With SMS Notifications, sending them a confirmation message when they submit or update a response is now made easier. Be it an order confirmation, service request update, appointment confirmation, or anything that needs you to send a quick update, use text messages to keep the communication going. You can also set up workflows using form rules to send them SMS alerts when certain conditions are met. These text messages can be sent to the respondent of the form, to yourself, or to another phone number of your choice based on your requirement.

You can send an update in the following ways:
  1. Using SMS Notification templates  for all records added or updated
  2. Using Form Rules to send a message only if a condition is fulfilled
Let's take a quick look at some other details before we dive deeper.

Keep it short and simple!

With mobile phones making chores easier, a short message is all you and your respondents need to make a connection that matters. A text message is an easy-to-digest snippet of information, making it worthwhile not just for the receiver but also to the sender. No update is missed, be it an order status, support request, or other information. Also, the chances that receivers read an SMS are much higher than an email.

Let's understand this better with an example:

Your client books an appointment with you for a dental check-up. You can send an SMS message to your client informing them that their appointment has been confirmed with the date and time. You can further notify them about their appointment processing by changing their order status in All Entries or Reports.

Reports and SMS Status

As your notification moves, its progress will be shown in the status reporting. To see the exact status of your message, all you need to do is to go to All Entries and refresh the SMS status. That way, you will always be on top of your business and plan effective communication with your form's audience.
