In our company i bit the bullet and ran with FSM for a whole week. Service calls, deliveries and surveys. Covering about 30-120 miles a day to domestic properties.
Loved the appointment list and satnav integration.
Loved the timer to measure the appointments.
Loved the idea of it all.
but
The biggest issue by far is the offline restrictions. Sorry but an engineer attending a job that finds he cannot see the service history is going to have a really bad day quickly. Its almost like nobody has been out in the field to try it. The CRM app has restrictions but it gets away with it and most importantly it sorts itself out no pressing offline buttons.
It feels like a creator app could do better at the moment and we could tie in a Stripe payment process.
