Store Google reCAPTCHA Site Keys & Secrets in Zoho Forms

Store Google reCAPTCHA Site Keys & Secrets in Zoho Forms

Hello Zoho Forms Team,

We appreciate the support for Google reCAPTCHA v2 (checkbox) and reCAPTCHA v2 (Invisible) in Zoho Forms. However, we have a significant usability concern regarding the current implementation.

Current Limitation:

Every time we want to enable Google reCAPTCHA on a form, we must manually retrieve the site key and site secret from Google and enter them again. This process is repetitive, inefficient, and prone to errors.

Feature Request:

We propose that Zoho Forms securely store Google reCAPTCHA site keys and secrets
within the platform so they can be reused when enabling CAPTCHA on different forms.

Specifically, we suggest:
✅ A secure repository within Zoho Forms to store the site key and secret.
✅ The ability to select a pre-configured reCAPTCHA key when enabling CAPTCHA on a form.
✅ A way to update stored credentials in case of changes, ensuring all forms using them are updated automatically.

Why This is Important:

  • Eliminates the need to repeatedly retrieve credentials from Google.
  • Enhances security by reducing manual handling of sensitive data.
  • Saves time and effort when configuring CAPTCHA across multiple forms.
  • Ensures consistency in CAPTCHA settings across the organization.

This small yet impactful enhancement would significantly improve the user experience when implementing CAPTCHA in Zoho Forms. We would appreciate your consideration of this request and look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Ram Freedman
