Sync App cache for multiple users Linux computer

I would like to understand the WorkDrive sync for Linux Desktop (Ubuntu) App files local cache mechanism.
Imagine a scenario, where multiple users are using single Desktop machine, or a VDI server has WorkDrive sync app installed for users/thin clients.
WorkDrive has common shared folders for all employees that they download/sync on the desktop. (100+ GBs of data, files).
How WorkDrive stores files on a PC in case of multiple users? Does it download shared files multiple times or uses common central cache to store it locally?

In simple words, if my org has 100GB of shared/common folder for all employees. And there are 15 employees logins on the computer, they does it download 100x15 = 1500 GB of sync data on PC (especially for Linux Desktop sync app)?
