Task Notes

I created a task note, so I know it's possible; however, I can't figure out how I did it in order to add more notes. Could you add specific instructions in Help on how to do this for tasks. Also, could you add a command or Icon on the Tasks and Milestones General page (unless it is already there and I am just not finding it.)
