Trouble autheticating LinkedIn account

Hello - I have recently faced the issue when using Recruit that it will not authenticate me.  When I click on a LI icon I get the message:

You need to authenticate yourself with your LinkedIn account to use this feature.

I have used this function extensively in the past but recently it started refusing to authenticate my Linked In account.  When I go to Settings > Social Network Integration > Connect to LinkedIn - I get the following message in a pop up window.

"Some error occured in authenticating your LinkedIn account. Click hereto close the popup."

I have recently changed my name on LinkedIn (but not my email or any other identifying information).  I have also cleared my browser history, cache etc and ensured that the browser setting allows pop ups but it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions to get it to work?
