Namaskaram Zoho Books team,

      While editing a custom field of 'Estimate' module, 'Data Type' field seem to be disabled. But when we do mouse hover on this, it shows 'Clear Selection' in tool tip of the field. But it doesn't allow to clear that field.  If it is a non editable field then why the field contains that 'Clear Selection' option.  Please refer the following image.
