unable to change display name

I've changed my display name in every place I can think of, send mail as, display name, profile name and my email has not changed it's display name, so when I send emails they show as the email address before the @. What I need is my display name that is shown as the sender name to be properly set.

I've gone over the FAQ's and everything else.. I do not know exactly what is wrong here.
