Underlying Data

Hi, When I made a Chart or a View I used to click on the data I want to consult, and it brought back the information detailed and ALL the columns that were on the report or view data base, I just found out that now the same reports are just showing the columns that are in the view...is this a bug? o how can I add columns to those underlying consults.
