Understanding limit on the number of Projects

Understanding limit on the number of Projects

Hi

I understand that based on the subscription there is a limit on the Project. Is this the number of active projects or the total of all the projects? For eg, If I have a 10 project limit and I have exhausted it - can I delete one of the projects and replace it with some other?
