Updating Multipicklist value for Candidate Module

Updating Multipicklist value for Candidate Module

I have a multipicklist filed for my candidates module

The Values for the fields are

1. A, B & C
2. C,D,E & F

When updating the records using API . The values are not updated in the Zoho.

When the values are

1. A
2. B
3. C

Its working.

i think the Comma and Ampersand symbol in the value breaks the XML. Please guide me on this issue.
