Reactivate Subscriptions Automatically with In-Term Reactivation

We have enhanced the In-Term Reactivation feature to make subscription recovery easier. Now, when you record the payment for the most recent overdue invoice of a customer’s subscription, Zoho Billing automatically reactivates the subscription from Cancelled from Dunning to Live status and continues the billing cycle as configured. This removes the need for manual intervention and reduces operational effort.

To do this:
  1. Ensure you have enabled the In-Term Reactivation feature for your organization.

  2. When you record an offline payment or charge a customer for an overdue invoice of a subscription, check the Reactivate the associated subscription after payment box.
This will automatically change the status from Canceled from Dunning to Live status.



Associate Invoices with Credit Notes for Consistent Tax Calculation

You can now associate an invoice with the credit notes you create for your customers. Using the Invoice# dropdown, you can associate an invoice from the list of sent transactions. This ensures consistent tax calculation with Avalara — credit notes associated with an invoice use the tax rate as of the invoice's date, while unassociated ones calculate the tax rate based on the credit note's date. This maintains tax consistency and ensures correct financial records.
