White List in Spam Control

White List in Spam Control

I wrote this suggestion some long time back but it hasn't yet been implemented despite assurance it would be.

My understanding is that there's the regular spam filter in Zoho Mail and there's also the Spam Control tab in the Control Panel that has separate settings for SPF DKIM, DNSBLE etc. And I believe one happens before the other, but I can't recall which is which or the impact of that.

My issue is that when I  White List someone in Spam Control they should simply be forever white-listed. But what I was told last time is that if they fail SPF they go to Quarantine (if that was what was chosen) and the White List gets by-passed.

This is backwards. The point of a White List is exactly that...if I say White List someone I should ALWAYS see their emails NO MATTER if they have an SPF error or not.

It drives me nuts. I cannot be responsible for teaching people who email me how to fix their SPF errors. I need to be sure I will receive their emails. Hence the need for White List to work as expected.

Can you fix this?
Thank you.
