work task notes--automatic date (& time) stamp possible?

work task notes--automatic date (& time) stamp possible?

I often date my work task notes, which is very helpful in reviewing procedure and chronology of events. I have many notes.

Is it possible to provide some sort of automatic date & time stamp or choose to insert this when you want to write in task notes??
