The Zoho Books Projects section is great except that at least for us, the lack of sales orders makes the entire section useless. What is a project if not something that gets fulfilled over time? And what's the one Zoho entity that supports tracking fulfillment over time - a sales order :-)!

If a project was so small that it just got fulfilled in one stage, i.e.convert estimate to invoice, it wouldn't need to be a project in the first place.

For now we are using sales orders to track our projects, since that's the only way to reserve items and also the only way to partially fulfill a project (sales order) and see how much is left to fulfill. But I so wish we could use the Zoho Books project section for a unified view of all project estimates, sales orders, invoices, expenses etc.
