Recently I've been in the market for a decent scheduling program to enable scheduling of multiple employees at multiple locations. Ideally, I would prefer a cloud based solution that would allow employees to log on, check and confirm their schedule, post availability and request time off. Additionally it would have strong reporting capability to support payroll platforms or output in XLS or PDF formats as well.
Being capable of the following would be definite bonus:
- Error checking for double booking of shifts
- Ability to define parameters such as max work hours per day/week
- Ability to define which employees can work where based on status/training etc
- Ability to link with Zoho People
- Ability to link with Zoho Challenge
- Ability to link with Zoho Recruit
- Graphical schedule viewing (calendar, gantt chart etc)
- Location profiling to identify (Client if 3rd party, Address and customer field options)
Zoho has created a number of fantastic solutions and I think something like this would be a natural, next step evolution.
