The process is we receive enquiry for attendance onboard ship for some problem. We have some travel rates for engineers and at time fixed rates. We also provide some spares which are quoted and approved. The technician fly to the port at destination and attend the problem onboard the vessel. They issue service report and return back to Mumbai which is our base station. 

Based on number of days or at time based on the specific job based which is agreed in the assessment, we send the invoice. I like to know how to customise zoho invoice to suit my requirements.

Presently I am using Tally for accounting and simple excel based templates for invoicing. I earlier paid for one year subscription of Zoho books but due to sufficient lack of knowledge, it died the natural death in my office. I am very keen to start it again but this time with Zoho invoice due to its simplicity and once my office team is friendly with using invoice, I will make transition to Zoho books eventually.
