Zoho Mail Add-on for CRM integration - lack of GoogleApp integration features...
I've been using ZohoCRM with the Mail Add-on since it came out. I use Google Apps Mail mostly for my email work, calendar, etc. But, I'm finding it very hard to manage both my GoogleMail and my ZohoMail account, since I need to pull copies of mail from Gmail into ZohoMail to create a mail log for Contacts and Leads in CRM. So, basically I have copies of mail in both places (Ug). Although this isn't ideal, it still gets me an email trail inside of ZohoCRM.
But, here's my real issue:
I decided to say goodbye to Gmail for handling my mail and just use ZohoBusiness (Calendar, ZohoMail, etc.), which seemed like a good idea. However, I now have seemed to now have lost the ability to look up a contact with in ZohoMail as I did in Gmail. And, when I add a task, it goes into my ZohoBusiness task list, not Zoho CRM. Where is the tight integration between ZohoMail and ZohoCRM?
Why isn't there the same level of integration with product that I pay additionally for from Zoho equal or better than a free one from Google(mail)? I know I can add email address as a new Lead, Contact or Event, but that seems trivial.
What am I missing?
