I am a big fan of many of the Zoho servies especially of the mail features. 

I am using the Andoid mail app for some time now and realized that i only get new mails there if I load new mails via the webbrowser mail app. I get no new emails on Andoid for my pop accounts when I dont load new mails in the browser before.

Is this the way it should be or is there something wrong?

I am using andoid 6.0.1 on Samsung Galaxy S7
