Zoho Projects - Task Dependency & more

We are happy to announce the release of much awaited & much requested feature - Task Dependency.

Task Dependency

You can set dependency between tasks. Dependent task (Child Task) start date must be after the end date of Parent task.

For Ex :
Task C starts after Task B
Task B starts after Task A

Task A
|_ Task B
|_ Task C

Task A is parent task for Task B. Task B must start after the end date of Task A.

Assign Multiple Users to a Task

You can assign a task to multiple users.

Uniform Date Format

Set a date format under �Settings� -> �Company Settings� -> �Date/Time Format�. And this format gets reflected throughout the rest of the Zoho Projects UI screens. While adding start date to a task, the calendar popup will set the date in mm-dd-yyyy format. Now the calendar popup will also set the date in format specified in the 'Date/Time Format' settings. For example MMM dd yyyy (Apr 19 2008).

Delete Project/Forum Category

Admin can delete the project in addition to clear project. Admin/Manager of the project can delete the Forum Category also.

Note : Once deleted data cannot be retrieved.

Clearing task start date/end date

If a task start and duration is set and want to unset the date then you can use the clear option to unset the start date, duration/end date.

Few other bug fixes were also rolled out along with this update.
