i think it would be useful to allow clients to rss subscribe to your timesheets for those of us who are consultants and bill hourly, it is useful so they know how much time we've spent on a project real-time. are there any plans in the works for this? thanks, ryan@pearanalytics.com Ryan Kelly

Projects Meetings-inability to add attendees
I searched the archives but did not find a specific/desired answer. I recently tried to schedule a meeting on Projects. However, I was unable to input the names of those attending, as required. I had at least 3 names which I could have typed in, but was simply prevented from doing so. I kept getting a message to input the names of those attending!! The only alternative I had was to type this information into the General page, as a single item. I would like to know what the problem is here, and how

The milestone view baffles me. How many of my fellow project managers would like to see it changed? I believe there is no reason to have 3 tabs "General, Upcoming & Overdue." In fact, I think it is causing deadlines to be missed. My team simply doesn't know they have to click 3 times to see all of their assigned tasks. There is a workaround (also 3 clicks) - go to "My Home" click the "By Users" link and then pick the "user" to see all the tasks (at the very least this page should be sortable). Please

Love the program for sure, so easy to administer and such. Couple things would be nice though, 1. Version editing in separate window so that you do not "lose" your place in the list of documents 2. "Next" and "Previous" arrows for pages in documents 3. Better sorting of documents 4. Number of documents listed per page option, 10 is just not enough when working with a lot of files and you wish to view your lists of documents 5. iCal porblem
Help! I am having trouble exporting iCal from Zoho Project Calendar to MS Outlook. Eventhough there are tasks and milestones on my Work Calendar, the Outlook message kept on popping up as "The Internet Calendar file does not contain any appointments." Any clue?

Login details emailed everytime I add a new user to a projec
Is there anyway to turn this option off? Everytime I add a new user to a project, it emails them login information. While this may be a useful feature for some, it's not for my project team! We get enough emails as is. Can anyone give me any answers on this? Ashley Lichty

I exaggerate - but I would like to have Projects open & ready for use at least 40 hrs a week, as I use it constantly. However, when I switch to use of either Hotmail or Yahoo email, or some other sites with entirely different content, then I 'lose' Projects in the 'switching over'. Yet, it doesn't always seem to do this. I appear to be able to access Google, and still have Projects unaffected and unchanged. I am not sure if this has something to do with Zoho applications or something else? But i

After almost a month of managing our first project with Zoho Projects we are very satisfied with the results. Can I allocate a set amount of hours or days for an entire P
I would like to be able to show that an entire project is estimated to take a certain amount of hours and then set tasks within that project to have there own individual time estimates. Then I would like to see how many hours have been spent on a project as a whole and get a snapshot of whether it is being completed within the estimated time-frames. Also - I only seem to be able to set task durations in days but I'd like to be able to set them in hours. Can this be done? Many thanks.
Assigning a single task to mutliple people
If I may request a feature it would be to assign one single task to several people. The reason is that in marketing project management a single task you delegate can be owned by a sub team of several people. Print/Export Option in Reports
Hey folks, I love the fact that in task/milestone view the print function works like it does (printing only the meat). Reports are another issue though...while the print gives me only the meat it limits to 10 items..meaning I need to print 9 pages - ugh. How about a view/print option with selectable # of records and/or an export to CSV/Excel option?

Document Templates?
Hello! We're a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization hoping to use Zoho Projects to collaboratively manage our group and plan its events. I would like to post an Agenda Template and a Meeting Minutes Template. In Projects I created a New Document and saved it as "Agenda Template". Now, a group member has to be able to either make a copy of the template and then rename it (calling it "2008 September 13 Agenda", for example) or else open the document and then "Save As..." using the desired filename.
Tip 9: Shortcut to add user to an Organization.
The usual method followed to add user to an Organization is via Settings link in the top right corner of the projects window -----> People View -----> Add User. Instead you can click on "New User" on the User Panel in the left side of the project window and add user to an Organization. Making Zoho Writer Document Available in Projects?
Hello! I've created a document in Zoho Writer which I would now like to make available to our Projects team. I used the same Zoho account to log onto Writer as I do to log onto Projects. (It is an Administrator account in Projects.) I can't figure out how to make this document available in Projects. (I suppose I could save it to my local hard drive and then import it into Projects, but I can't believe it could be that cumbersome.) I appreciate your help. Steven
