Stuck on "Create New Portal" Page
I am trying to get started with Zoho projects. I believe I am "signed in" with a user name and password. The first thing it tells me to do is create a portal. There is a line that has http://projects.zoho.com/portal/ then it has a blank area for me to enter my new portal name. When I enter something here, and then click on the "Create New Portal" button, nothing happens. It simply clears the field and I'm still stuck on this page. Roles and data sharing
I don't understand how to use the Roles setting under the user settings to enable data sharing. Can anyone give me some guidance? I have multiple teams under one organization that need access to projects created by users on their teams.. The only way I have found to do this so far is to have the project creator add his teammates manually each time a project is created.

We recently launched a bunch of new features in Projects. Our Gantt charts were revamped to accommodate the most awaited feature - four types of task dependency. Is it possible to migrate only selected projects from Basecamp?
Can we select a set of projects from our Basecamp account when migrating? Also does the migration distinguish between Basecamp projects and teams? Basecamp3 has this new separation of "Teams" and "Projects". They are in fact not different entities from each other. "Teams" are rather used to create some team workspaces which aren't directly targeted at real projects.

weird calendar bug with tasks and duplicates
see attached screenshots. the calendar is showing 1000's of recurring tasks for the same day. this happened last week too. the tasks do not show in the project itself.

Seems like milestones could use the ability to be customized. I'd like to be able to create layouts for milestones similar to how one creates them for tasks. Honestly, you all have the ideal functionality built, just needs to be applied to milestones.
How I can create task in Project and link it with a Deal not Account in CRM
Background: I have Account with Deal in Zoho CRM and projects mapped with Account and Deal in Zoho Project. I would like to create task and sync them between Zoho Project and Zoho CRM. Problem is: When I tried to create task in Zoho CRM, I can either link task to Account Project or Deal Project. But when I tried to create task in Zoho Project, I can only link task to an Account, not Deal. See attached picture, you can only select Account, there is no Deal list.

Need to be able to set a Closed Task as a Predecessor task
When using a roll-up defined project I find that I often have to add new tasks that are dependent on a existing closed task. Having this dependency will set the Start date of the new task. Unfortunately Projects does not allow the adding a dependency on a completed task. The work around is to go back and change the predecessor task to open, then add the dependency for the new task...and then go back and close the predecessor task (and remember to return the predecessor task completed date to the

Clickable links in fields
I have a custom field I made called 'Tracking #', and I want to be able to put a clickable link in that field so I can click on it and go directly to my tracking info from my task in the project. This is not possible at the moment, I copy and paste the link but it isn't clickable. Need to be able to set a Predecessor dependency on a Closed Task
I often need to add a follow-up task to a completed task. Unfortunately Projects will not allow using a closed task as a predecessor to this new task. This is an annoyance that requires opening the predecessor task, then set the dependency and then close the task again (remembering the proper previously set completed date). Is there a technical reason for this limitation?

Finance Tab disappeared for Profile/Roles

Need to be able to copy a closed Task
It would be great if it would be possible to Copy a closed task. Having to open a task to copy it and then Close it (and remember to return the completed date back to the original date) is very cumbersome. This is one of many limitations of working with Completed tasks.

Renaming a tasklist when suing a template
Hi, I created a tasklist with tasks, which I converted into a model. My goal is to create multiple tasklists using this model. However, when you create a new tasklist from a model, you can´t name it. It take the template´s name by default. You have to edit the newly created tasklist afterward. It would be great if the renaming is available in the new "tasklist with model" panel.
Default Work Type for a task
It would be great when setting the Work value in a task to have the Work Type i.e. hours per day, hours) default to a configurable Work Type. My Tasks Sorting
So I just recently moved my company to Zoho projects but I noticed it is missing something so basic. On the My Tasks you cannot sort by the columns... Also by default all the tasks with no due date show first. To me this is backwards, if something has a deadline it should probably show up before all the rest. The sorting would solve this issue but the default just seems wrong to me.

Is there no way to sort by Project Name in Chronology Ghantt view? We need a way to be able to assign filters that show tasks associated with certain users, and then sort by project name. From what I can tell there is no way to do this.

How to solve Zoho Project's (PMS) data center issue to add the accounts of EU database into the US database?
We have observed a big problem with Zoho Projects (PMS), where we can’t add a client account if he/she is associated with the Zoho EU database. Since our Account is in the US database, any account is associated with the EU database can’t be added to our account. Now, there is a scenario when the client can’t close his/her other Zoho account from his/her side; how can we proceed with such projects?
