\"send\" function

Hi, Thanks again for your great work.
Would you be so kind to answer two questions:
1/ Is it possible to use "send" function(mail notifications) when the entry is updated.
2/ Is it possible to send messages only when editor adeed/updated N(e.g. 10) entries or to send a report in the end of the day.
