'record summary' button need to display all fields with data

'record summary' button need to display all fields with data

Why does the record summary button only display the fields that are displayed in the current view? It seems like it should display all the fields that contain data for a particular record. In fact, I think it used to do this. Otherwise, what is the point of having the button. Or maybe this is just a bug.
